There is a narrow coral beach here, making a beach entry possible for scuba divers and snorkellers. There are markers (sticks), indicating where to dinghy in. It is also popular with day boats, but if you arrive early in the morning, it’s possible you can have the place to yourselves.

There are free moorings available but if anchoring take care as it is deep, lay out all your anchor chain.
Snorkel just out from the markers and you are likely to be swimming with a giant Maori Wrasse or two and there is bush walk located on the south bay that takes you up the hill for excellent views.
