The Leopard 48.3 sailing catamaran is the latest design from Leopard Catamarans and features the innovative walk through saloon and forward cockpit. This feature provides great airflow for the tropics and a second entertaining area.
She can accommodate up to 11; three bathrooms, three double cabins, two bunks located amidship and one small bunk attached to the front cabin. The saloon table will also convert to a double and another single bunk is available behind the settee.
The rear cockpit has a large table with ample seating. The upstairs galley, with generous refrigeration space and great ventilation, provides for comfortable cruising. She will also perform equally well under power.
From beginning to end, this was a fantastic experience (for boat owners to non-sailors! I'm the latter; complete novice!)...
Apprehensive at putting up sails first time on our own - but after a few times, we were all very comfortable.
PLENTY of linen on board, PLENTY of space on Rafiki (3 double berths plus 2 bunk beds - 2 berths with ensuite).

I learnt new skills (pulling up and down sails including how to read charts, doing skeds, was at the helm sailing 17 nautical miles - hitting 8 knots at times and LOVED it!
