Plan your holidays for 2019
By now, you’re probably all back into the swing of work and school, staving off the post-holiday blues. Are you contemplating when and where your next holiday will be? A bareboat holiday in the Whitsundays, is your next perfect holiday!
If you need to travel in school holidays, now is the time to plan ahead, to ensure you get the dates and boats that you want. In some cases, Easter holidays for example, we’re already heavily booked.
If you can escape during the school terms, there are some great reasons to do so, notably that everything is cheaper. If you do have kids at school, consider the learning experiences they will get from a sailing holiday, exploring the coral reefs of the Whitsundays. They can learn all about marine life, island and coral ecosystems. They can learn how to sail and handle a boat (even just driving) and develop amazing self confidence in the process. If your kids are in grades 10-12 this year, they get out of school several weeks before everyone else, and late November is a beautiful (and affordable) time to be here in the tropics.

It certainly pays to be booking your next Whitsunday Escape holiday 6-12 months in advance. There are Early Bird Discounts to be taken advantage of, and flights tend to be cheaper earlier on, before they fill up the seats. When are Whitsunday Escape’s Season Specials?
You can then match up your intended travel dates with our season specials. Generally, in between school holidays throughout most of the year is when we offer our excellent value Shoulder Season rates. In the summer months from January – March we offer the best value of the year with our Summer Special.
The Spring holidays are our peak season and we don’t offer specials at this time of year. Occasionally, our Shoulder Season special overlaps into the school holidays, especially if you are in QLD, or one of the mid/western states.
