Sailing in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park

The Whitsunday Islands are located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

Sailing is one of the most popular ways of exploring the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The quality of the reefs that fringe the islands is considered to be of very high quality, and comparable to the outer reef itself.

The coral and marine life that thrive on the island reef sites are the same as those that make up the outer reef.
